Please take a few minutes to become aquainted with your new Patapum Baby Carrier.
Notice the detachable head hood, or sleeping hood. Before your first attempt to wear the Patapum carrier, unfasten the buckles
and loosen the straps. This will make it much easier to adjust the carrier to your and your baby's body. Once the straps
are loose and the buckles are unclasped, decide which carry you want to try first.
Wearing the Patapum Baby Carrier in the Front Position
Fasten the hip belt buckle and adjust so it fits comfortably on your hips. Fasten the chest strap across your back and adjust so shoulder straps stay in place.
Loosen the shoulder straps.
Place your child in the carrier. Make sure each of the child's legs go into the separate leg openings.
Tighten the shoulder straps so the straps fit snugly against your body.
Try different lengths until you find the optimal positioning.
Wearing the Patapum Baby Carrier in the Back Position
Fasten the hip belt buckle and adjust so it fits comfortably on your hips. Fasten the chest strap across your chest and adjust so shoulder straps stay in place.
Loosen the shoulder straps.
Have a second person assist placing your child in the carrier. Make sure each of the child's legs go into the separate leg openings. * Alternate: A second person is not
necessary if you position the hip belt on the side of your hip while you place your child into the carrier, then carefully slide the carrier and child to your back and put the shoulder straps on.
Tighten the shoulder straps so the straps fit snugly against your body.
Try different lengths until you find the optimal positioning.
