Patapum Toddler Carrier Instructions

Get to Know your Patapum Toddler Carrier
Please take a few minutes to become aquainted with your new Patapum Toddler Carrier. Notice the detachable head hood, or sleeping hood. Before your first attempt to wear the Patapum carrier, unfasten the buckles and loosen the straps. This will make it much easier to adjust the carrier to your and your child's body. Once the straps are loose and the buckles are unclasped, decide which carry you want to try first.

Note: Make sure the fabric seat is even over your child's body and the release buckles are engaged properly under your child's arms. For toddlers that sit with arms over the shoulder straps, the side straps will work as back support, getting the toddler's weight closer to the wearer's center of gravity.

Wearing the Patapum Toddler Carrier in the Front Position

  1. Fasten the hip belt buckle and adjust so it fits comfortably on your hips. Fasten the chest strap across your back and adjust so shoulder straps stay in place.
  2. Loosen the shoulder straps.
  3. Place your child in the carrier. Make sure each of the child's legs go into the separate leg openings.
  4. Tighten the shoulder straps so the straps fit snugly against your body.
  5. Try different lengths until you find the optimal positioning.
